From the 6th to 8th September the Executive Committee of the International Association for Neo-Latin Studies (IANLS) and the Organizing Committee of the next congress convened in Leuven to discuss the more than 350 abstracts and visit the venues of the next IANLS congress. As the first congress in 1971 took place in Leuven, the association will celebrate 2021 50 years of IANLS in Leuven.

IANLS is an international association for promoting interest in Neo-Latin, i.e. writings in Latin since the beginnings of Humanism, and for the advancement of Neo-Latin studies (cf. www.ianls.com). The Senior Researcher of the UTLC Kristi Viiding is the General Secretary of the IANLS since 2018.
