The Literature Centre`s senior researcher Eneken Laanes` five-year project Translating Memories: The Eastern European Past in the Global Arena was awarded a top-ranking 1,5 million euro grant from the European Research Council.
With her team at Tallinn University, Eneken Laanes will study how memory based on the East European documents and understandings of World War II and the Soviet regime found their way to the global arena through literature, film and art.
