Konverents toimub Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia Underi ja Tuglase Kirjanduskeskuse ning Tšehhi Teaduste Akadeemia filosoofia instituudi võrdlev-kirjandusloolise uurimisprojekti „Literary Representations of Early Modern Crisis in Central and North Eastern Europe“ (Kesk- ja Kirde-Euroopa varauusaegse kriisi kirjanduslikud kajastused) raames ning on seotud uurimisprojektiga „Kokkupuuted, üleminek, muutus: nobilitas haereditaria ac litteraria varauusaegse kirjanduse väljakujunemisel Poola ja Rootsi Liivimaal“ (PRG1926).
