The Literature Centre’s digital collaboration with the James Joyce Centre and the Petöfi Literary Museum

As a continuation of the Erasmus+ adult education partner search programme ADU Speed Date, the Museum of the Under and Tuglas Literature Centre, the James Joyce Centre and the Petőfi Literature Museum will collaborate to find the best solutions for the digitisation and long-term preservation of museum collections.
The aim of this short-term mobility project is to increase our digital competencies with the various aspects of a literary museum, reach a wider audience through digital outreach, provide an exciting museum experience for everyone, simplify access to the collections for researchers all over the world, increase and improve our collaboration with other organisations and individuals in the Erasmus+ network, share the results of our project in an article on EPALE. As part of the project, specialists from the Museum of the Underi and Tuglas Literature Centre and the Petőfi Literary Museum will visit the James Joyce Centre in Dublin, Ireland, and will host the Irish colleagues in their own institutions. As the final result of this collaboration, we expect to improve and expand our capabilities in archival digitalisation, digital exhibition displays, and local, national and international outreach with regard to European literature.
