On 25–26 June 2022, Birdlife Estonia held a summer outing at Ravila Manor in Harju County. Traditionally, in addition to the general meeting, the programme of the outing includes presentations on the most important research projects currently underway.

Elle-Mari Talivee, a senior researcher at the Under and Tuglas Literature Centre of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and a board member of Birdlife Estonia, gave feedback on interviews with Estonian bird enthusiasts from this year and the last under the title “From great tit to white-tailed eagle – how amateur or citizen science expands the world”. The interviews were conducted as part of the Horizon 2020 project “EnviroCitizen – Citizen Science for Environmental Citizenship” in which, with the participation of the Literature Centre, green citizen science is studied from the point of view of environmental humanities.
